A Field Guide to Our Scents
Five families, and how to find the one that feels like home.
Choosing a scent by name alone is a bit like choosing a song by its title. To make it easier, we group our fragrances into a handful of families — loose neighborhoods of mood and material. Here is a short tour, so you can find the corner you like and wander from there.
Amber & Oak
Our warmest family, and the one people reach for as the light gets low. Think resinous amber softened by dry oak and a whisper of vanilla — enveloping without being heavy. These are the scents for a quiet evening, a lit lamp, a book you are in no hurry to finish.
Fig & Cassis
Green, fruity, and a little bittersweet. Fig lends a milky, leafy softness while cassis brings a tart, jewel-toned lift. Together they feel like a garden in early summer — fresh but never sharp. A good choice for kitchens, entryways, and mornings.
Lavender
The one everyone knows, done with restraint. We keep our lavender clean and herbaceous rather than sweet or soapy, letting its natural calm do the talking. It belongs on a nightstand and in the bath — anywhere you want the day to slow down.
Cedar
Dry, woody, and grounding. Cedar is the scent of a well-kept workshop or a walk under tall trees — steady and a touch masculine, though it suits everyone. Pair it with amber for depth in winter, or let it stand alone for something clean and quietly confident.
Citrus
- Bright: lemon and bergamot for a wide-awake morning.
- Rounded: blood orange and neroli for something sunnier and softer.
Our citrus family is the shortcut to a lighter room. It clears the air after cooking, wakes up a dim hallway, and lifts a mood in about the time it takes to strike a match.
